Welcome to Painting in Italy
We run fully organised holidays in which everything is taken care of. We arrange painting locations, excellent meals with wine and excursions for the group. This means that guests can focus solely on painting or cooking and enjoying themselves without worrying about other details and what things cost as everything is included in the price. Some cheaper options can become quite a bit more expensive when the extra costs are added into the holiday. The only extras you will need to pay are your flights and any drinks taken outside of meal times.
We organise holidays in which like-minded people can share an activity in an atmosphere of warmth and friendship, and we will try to make this an experience you will want to repeat.
Over 70% of guests joining us in 2009 had been on the holiday before.
The holiday is designed to create the perfect balance between being alone and being part of a group. There is plenty of time to paint and draw, but Italian food and culture are an integral part of this unforgettable week.

Cooking Tuition
We also organise cooking courses. This enables friends/partners to come on the holiday together, do separate activities in the morning and then join together for the rest of the day.
Non Painting Partners and Friends
Non-painting partners are very welcome, and receive a 10% discount. Partners are invited to join in all the excursions, wine tasting, meals, etc. When painting tuition takes place in the morning we can organise, at an extra charge, golf, guided walks, language tuition, or horseriding.
Programmes
We have organised two types of holiday. We have 7 days with painting tuition in the morning followed by excursions in the afternoon - see Programme A, B, C
We also have 7 days based in a town with painting tuition with
only one excursion and half board which gives our guests more time
to paint and draw - see Programme A,
B, Programme
E.

Hotels
We have carefully selected our locations. The hotels are chosen because of their charm and the way they add to the atmosphere we wish to create for our groups.
All hotels have on-suite facilities and all have swimming pools with the exception of Hotel Tiferno in Citta di Castello and Pallazzo Bocci in Spello as they are both situated in the centre of town.
Hotel Villa San Donino
is on a hill top with stunning views over the Umbrian Hills. It
is situated near to the medieval walled town of Citta di Castello.

Hotel Tiferno is a 4 star hotel situated in the centre of the walled town of Citta di Castello. The hotel, which is one of the oldest in Umbria (1895), has been completely restored, strictly respecting the building’s original architecture. It is located in a small square in the historic center of the hospitable age-old Umbrian city, in a seventeenth-century palace that was once the monastery of the church of St. Francis, which is located nearby.

Nowich Reunion
The Reunion of our painting and cooking guests in Norwich on the
27th November was a huge success. We are so grateful to those people
that travelled a very long way to get there. Although it was over
two days it still wasn't enough time to catch with everyone. We have
the summer! click here for photographs
of the event.
