Family run Villa Pambuffetti provides luxurious accommodation in
an historic building surrounded by extensive park from which you
can enjoy a magnificent view all over Umbria. It is situated
just outside Montefalco main medieval walls. The villa boasts
beautiful decor, an antique fireplace and original furnishings.
Set within its own garden you will find a lovely outdoor pool and
solarium. The restaurant is locally renowned for its excellent
cuisine. The family produce their own wine locally and their
own olive oil.
Montefalco is a quiet hill town and in view of the fact that eight
saints were born here, perhaps one of the holiest. Tranquill
and tiny cobbled streets, most of them too narrow for even a small
car, wind gently to the Piazza del Comune. Spectacular views
can be had from Montefalco. It is called "the balcony of Umbria".
Montefalco is famous for two of Umbria's most distinctive wines,
Sangrantino and Sangrantino Passito. Within The church
of San Francesco are frescos by Benozzo Gozzoli, Peruino, Tiberio
d'Assisi and others.
Villa Pambuffetti are able to organise horse riding, biking, golf,
hot air ballooning and walks. Sat Nam Rasayan healing
treatments and massages can be had in the hotel.
