We were so thrilled that so many people came to the Reunion. There were 50 of us for dinner on Friday night and lunch on Saturday. On Friday evening at 6 o'clock we all arrived in taxis at John and Joan's lovely home. We were warmly greeted with delicious snacks and good wine. It was wonderful to just stand back to watch and listen to people meeting up again and taking up the good friendships that were formed during the holiday. It was also an opportunity to see John's fantastic paintings which covered the walls. We returned to the hotel in good spirits for our dinner served in the private room of the hotel. On Saturday morning some people took the opportunity to visit the various small unusual shops in Norwich. Some went to the Castle Museum and some to the Cathedral. We met again in the hotel for lunch. On Saturday evening some of our guests went to the Baroque Concert. I heard it was very good. Also some people stayed on until Monday so that they could take advantage of the beautiful Nativity service held in Norwich Cathedral on Sunday evening. It was a very successful event which we look forward to repeating. We were extremely grateful to those that came from a great distance to be there.
