We had a wonderful season in 2011 and now look forward to 2012.
We are very excited about our holiday in Venice in May and October. We finalised the programme and sent out the details. Within 4 days we had such a terrific response we only have a couple of rooms left on each week.
Massimiliano Longo is one of our new tutors for 2012. He is an extremely talented artist. He is also fences competitively, loves horseriding and his other passion is making music. We are fortunate that he has found time in his busy schedule to tutor for us. We are especially lucky because he lives in Venice and therefore knows it so well which will be invaluable during our painting holiday there.
I was very nervous about including the luxury villa, Villa Laura in Cortona as it is quite a departure from our hotel based holidays. I need not have been. The fact that the house was used in the filming of "Under the Tuscan Sun" has been an attraction.
Our holiday in Montefalco staying in Hotel Villa Pambuffetti was a real hit in 2011. Many guests booked for 2012 before the week was out. We therefore wanted to find another similar location where guests have the benefit of a quiet 4 star location but have a town on its doorstep. We found Relais il Chiostro di Pienza. This is a lovely 4 star hotel in the centre of Pienza.
I have been persuaded to start "Tweeting". I can't say I fully understand the concept yet but I'm sure it will come to me in time.
