Our Painting Programme C is based in Hotel La Riserva Montebello

Programme C: Lake Bolensa

Includes 7 nights' full-board accommodation in 3 star hotel, airport transfers, visits to exclusive restaurants (wine, soft drinks and coffee included), tuition and excursions. Programme C is based in Hotel La Riserva Montebello. This programme is suitable for guests with any level of artistic experience. This holiday is situated in a corner of Italy rich in history, with an abundance of cultural and historical sights that are still relatively undiscovered.

Sunday

13.00: Lunch will be served to those guests arriving in time.
20.00: Drinks and Dinner will be served on the hotel terrace.

Monday

07.00-09.00: Continental breakfast is served
09.30: John Booth will give an introductory talk on the week’s painting.
10.30: The party takes the ten minute ride into the town of Bolsena for the first painting session.
13.00: Lunch will be served on the terrace of the hotel.
15.30: Painting at Bagnoregio (The Dying City)
19.00: Dinner at the hotel.
22.00: Return to hotel.

Tuesday

07.00-09.00: Continental breakfast is served
09.30: Depart for the fifteen minute drive to paint the view of Orvieto.
12.30: Return to the Hotel for lunch.
Relax or paint around the hotel: swimming in the lake.
20.00: Dinner on the shore of the lake.

Wednesday

07.00-09.00: Continental breakfast is served.
09.30: Leave for a visit to the Farnesse palace at Caprarola
13.00: Lunch at a restaurant in Caprarola.
17.30: Return to Hotel La Riserva.
19.30: Dinner in Hotel La Riserva.

Thursday

07.00-09.00: Continental breakfast is served
09.00: Drawing and painting in Bolsena.
13.00: Lunch on the terrace of the hotel.
15.00: Depart for Tuscania for sightseeing and painting.
19.30: Dinner at Hotel San Francesco, a former monastery.
22.00: Return to Hotel la Riserva

Friday

07.00 – 09.00: Continental breakfast is served
09.30: Paint and relax around the hotel.
13.00: Lunch on the terrace of the hotel.
15.30: Depart for Orvieto to visit the beautiful Cathedral and the Signorelli Chapel.
19.30: Dinner in the famous restaurant La Grotte del Funaro.
22.00: Return to Hotel.

Saturday

07.00 – 09.00: Continental breakfast is served
09.00: Relax and paint around the hotel.
13.00: Lunch on the terrace of the hotel
Relax and paint around the hotel.
18.00: Illustrated presentation on the week’s visits and art.
19.30: Dinner in Hotel La Riserva.

Sunday

07.00-09.00: Continental breakfast is served
13.00: Lunch in hotel depending on time of departure to airport
