Programme D: Destination: Spello, Umbria Hotel: Hotel Palazzo Bocci – 4 stars situated in the centre of town. Programme: Painting Tuition in combination with cooking tuition for partners/friends. Dates: 19th September Price: £1150.00 + £150 single person supplement. Includes 7 nights’ half board accommodation. Wine, soft drinks and coffee are included with evening meals in restaurants in Spello. Excursion and wine tasting. Airport transfer from Perugia airport. Hotel Palazzo Bocci is a 15th century mansion positioned in the centre of the beautiful town of Spello. The hotel offers classical comfort but modern facilities. All rooms are sound-proofed and en-suite with shower or bath, minibar, colour TV, telephone and air conditioning. There are a couple of beautiful sitting areas decorated with trompe l'oeil. There is an quiet inner garden to sit out in with beautiful views over the valley. We have made this programme half board so that our guests have the freedom to have just a panini (sandwich) for lunch or a full three-course lunch if they prefer. This gives guests more time to paint, draw or explore the town. We will get together in the evenings for dinners in some of the numerous excellent restaurants in Spello. There will be one excursion to the very beautiful and spiritual town of Assisi. This will be of particular interest to Art History lovers. For non-participating partners/friends we have included four mornings cooking tuition in a local restaurant. Sunday 11.00: Collect from Perugia airport (45 minute transfer time). Guests can arrive in the hotel by their own means, however any costs incurred are not included in the price. 12.00: Guests will be greeted in the hotel on their arrival. 15.00: Explore the town with the tutor. 18.30: Welcome drink and introduction to the week given by tutor. 20.00: Dinner in Spello. Monday 08.00 – 09.00: Breakfast is served 09.15: Painting and drawing tuition on location in the town. 10.00: Cooking lessons commence. PM: Painters are free to continue painting in a location of their choice or explore the town. The tutor is available to offer assistance to those that want to continue their painting. 20.00: Dinner in Spello. Tuesday 08.00 – 09.00: Breakfast is served 09.15: Painting and drawing tuition on location in the town. 10.00: Cooking lessons pm: Painters are free to continue painting in a location of their choice or explore the town. The tutor is available to offer assistance to those that want to continue their painting. 19.30: Wine tasting and dinner in Spello. Wednesday 08.00 – 09.00: Breakfast is served 09.15: Painting tuition on location in the town. 10.00: Cooking lessons 15.00: Guests depart on excursion to Assisi. 19.30: Dinner in Assisi 22.00: Return to the hotel. Thursday 08.00 – 09.00: Buffet breakfast is served 09.15: Painting tuition on location in the town. 10.00: Cooking lessons commence. PM: Painters are free to continue painting in a location of their choice or explore the town.
